County Senior Meal Program
June 1 until December 31, 2009.
The Middlesex County Department on Aging HAS received one time federal stimulus funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for nutritional use in the county.
The funding is being provided to help ensure seniors are able to eat nutritious meals during this economic crisis and use of the funds must adhere to strict federal guidelines.
Piscataway Township seniors will benefit from this program beginning June 1 until December 31, 2009.
During this time period, the County Senior Meal Program will provide prepared meals for consumption on site at the Senior Center to any residents attending their Saturday or two evening programs during the week.
Interested seniors over the age of 60 must register at the Piscataway Senior Center on Buena Vista Road or call the Center at 732-562-1133.
