Time capsule

Piscataway's time capsule was buried on December 18, 1966 with instructions to be opened 100 years later in 2066.  The time capsule is located in mulched landscape along the east side of the Piscataway Public Library Kennedy branch in between landscape walls adjacent to the patio.

Former Mayor Ted Light kept the 1966 Daily Home News article featuring his late wife Rosemary holding the time capsule.  Both Mayor & Mrs. Light served on the time capsule committee.
