Rabies Clinics

Piscataway Township offered two free, drive-thru rabies clinics in early 2021 according to last names:

  • Saturday, January 30, 2021 – Last names beginning with A-K
  • Saturday, February 6, 2021 – Last names beginning with L-Z

Both clinics were from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Public Works Department yard, 505 Sidney Road.  Residents were asked to determine vaccine eligibility by bringing their pet's vaccination records.  The new process had residents remaining in their cars at all times.  Staff guided residents and took away the pet – either a dog by a leash or a cat or small dog in an appropriate carrier as provided by the resident – to get its rabies shot.  Residents were required to wear facemasks while interacting with staff.

License applications for dogs and cats are on the Township Clerk’s webpages.  Please download the appropriate form and mail with payment, proof of rabies vaccine, self-addressed stamped envelope and proof of spaying/neutering if applicable to the Township Clerk's office, 455 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
